When I do handwork, I'm throughtful.
Mostly about my work. 4 days a week I work in a Shop for handwork. We sell fabrics, whool, emboidery thinks, sewingmachines, ...
It could be very fun, if you have nice customers. But in last time, they are very stressfull.
Some don't want to be helped by me, because I'M TO YOUNG...
Its very humiliating. Just because I'm young, it doesent mean I have no capability.
On saturday someone didn't want helped by me again.
The customer had febric's in her hands. I asked if I can help and if I should cut. She looked at me from top to toe, pulled her brow and said to me she would like to ask a older staff member. Because they want to have a stuff member with more experience. She wan't to buy the right amount of fabric.
I didn't know what to say.
Most of all I would have said sarcastically: "Yeah no problem,
although I have been training for the tailor and sewing probably been around longer than you, but of course I'll get you an older staff member which has less experience than I do."
BUT I CANT and that makes me so angry! Always smile an nod, smile and nod.
And at least once a week.
But...
Only two weeks left. Then holiday => means traveling to Japan => means relaxing=> means heaven on earth!
